    Try sour cream or ranch dressing. Both of these are rich and creamy. Or try mayonnaise. It has the same effect.

    You can always substitute butter.If you don’t have milk and the other things others have suggested, try a little salad, sesame or olive oil, and don’t forget the salt!

    try milk, it always works, and add some parmesean cheese, too, it add to the flavor. Try to warm the milk in a saucepan with about 3 cloves of crushed garlic.

    You can add some of the water you boiled the potatoes in back when mashing them. Also, chicken broth is good, and if you want really rich potatoes, try evaporated milk. (Just make sure its not the sweetened condensed kind, but plain old evaporated milk.)
